IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
For the last 10 years Linda McDaniel and I have run the Carolina Schooling Series together. She has been an invaluable part of the success of the series over the years. However at this point she has decided to step away from CSS. I hope everyone will join me in thanking her for her years of volunteering and everything she has done to keep this show series happening.
This leads to two points. First, because of this I will be unable to organize the year end banquet. Having limited time, I feel my efforts would be better placed into trying to get the show series together for the upcoming season. Year end points are posted below. Elizabeth and I will be mailing out ribbons and prizes. (I would also like to thank Elizabeth Sabolovic for her continued support as treasurer and handling many of the administrative issues we have. She has been a critical part of the organization over the last few years.)
Which brings up the second point. I will need LOTS of help getting the series up and running for 2023. Over the years many people have offered to help and now CSS will definitely need it in order to keep happening. In the next week I should have a list of jobs that need to be filled in order for the shows to go on. Please keep an eye out for this and consider volunteering. Some jobs are at the show and others are year long organizational ones. Many don’t require horse or horse show knowledge. If there are any questions please email me directly at fredajessen@gmail.com.
