Volunteers

Carolina Schooling Series is completely run by volunteers. From our Show Stewards to our judging assistants, we are all volunteers! If you believe that horseshowing should be available at an economical price, think of volunteering! During the 2025 Season we will be offering free division certificates for Ingate Leaders and Jump Crew! We will be offering free class certificates for other volunteers as well as free lunch for all volunteers!

We always have openings for:

Ingate Staff- One leader for each ring and an apprentice In gate person for each ring. Keeps track of rounds, communicates with announcer, keeps track of rotations and makes sure ring moves smoothly.

Jump Crew- Responsible for resetting rails and raising/lowering jump heights during show day.

Judge Assistants: Assists judge with transporting judges cards to show office and doing small errands for judge throughout show day.

Stabling/ Parking Manager: Makes sure that only reserved stalls are being used, that traffic flow around the barn is not blocking other exhibitors and the no parking occurs in undesignated areas.

Ribbon Wranglers: Makes sure each in gate has enough ribbons, that Champion and Reserve Champion Ribbons are given to correct exhibitors and that any winning gift certificates are stapled to the correct ribbon.

Assistant Announcer: Will announce placings, news and ring reports when Announcer is away and will assist Announcer with recording adds/scratches and sending and retrieving paperwork from the show office.

Show Secretary Assistant: Helps Show Secretary Check in entries, check out entries and relays/radios messages to the rest of the show staff.
